About the project
Commissioned by the Efteling, the largest theme park of the Benelux, we were asked to build a temporary outdoor area in the park to celebrate its 70th anniversary. The ‘naam area’ served as a multifunctional meeting place, theater and decorative location in the park. In accordance with the Efteling standard, this project required an extreme level of quality, the use of different materials (both 2D and 3D) and a detailed finish. In addition, the project required a sustainable character, as the construction had to withstand all weather conditions for at least 7 months. Although the timeline was extremely short (between the quotation and the delivery were only 8 weeks), the project has been completed in time and in full satisfaction with the client.

We created amazing things!
What did we do?
Within this project, we acted as a relieving partner. First, we participated in the planning of the project by means of a site plan. Starting from the final design, we took care of the complete production. We not only provided all technical drawings, but we also realized the complete prefabrication of all materials under our own management. E.g. we took care of the 3D drawing and milling work, coating of the materials, decorative painting, transportation, and assembly and disassembly on site. In collaboration with the Efteling, we were also responsible for supplying and installing all shelters, coordinating all DTP work, building the scaffolding and delivering the V&G and RI&E documents.
